The Technology Solutions Consultant conducts workforce performance system consulting, implementation, and training. Workforce performance systems include SumTotal Systems, Interwise, and Rocket Software.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document client business processes and requirements related to the configuration and implementation of an enterprise-level web-based learning management system.
- Configure client technology infrastructure in preparation of system implementation.
- Load, configure, and integrate a web-based learning management system.
- Prepare system documentation.
- Deliver system training to client staff.
- Collaborate with Stranix and client project team members on the implementation of the system.
- Conduct basic project management activities in both large and small team environments.
- Work independently and remotely or as a member of a large complex project team.
- Assist in facilitating effective system knowledge transfer to client staff.
- Up to 90% travel required.
Mandatory Skills and Experience:
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 1+ year in a technical support/implementation role or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a high technology environment.
- Highly independent and responsible.
- Excellent client service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with people quickly.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects.
- Excellent writing and communications skills.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Must possess valid US drivers license and drivers insurance.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience with enterprise web-based workforce performance systems such as SumTotal, Docent, Saba, Plateau, Interwise, Centra, or QuestionMark.
- Prior experience with networking TCP/IP, Internet, Microsoft Server and MS Office.
- MCSE and/or CSNE certification.
